In the Army Surplus Now
Not much has been going on these past couple of weeks. On our first set of days off, we decided to get geared up for hiking at the Idaho Falls Army Surplus store.

We had stopped here before years ago, and had picked up a great pair of army pants for me and some wide-brimmed hats for both of us. This time around, we found the hats again, but no luck on pants, even though I was contemplating some funky Swiss Army pants. I don't know what kind of scenery they have over there, but the print had some pretty wild colors in it (pink and blue and purple and whatnot). I decided they hurt my eyes too much to buy.
We didn't do much else in Idaho Falls except for eating Chinese food, and believe me, there's not much to write about there. But we saw this on our way back home.

We're going to go back to Idaho Falls sometime soon and go to the "Bodies in Motion" exhibit. I've always been curious about those things.
I don't have any pictures of animals to share, except for this interesting one that poked its head out of a sewer hole by our RV one day. It seemed kind of dangerous, so we took the picture from the safety of our RV, hence the screen.

It scurried out soon enough, though, and hasn't been back since.
I talked Phil into being lazy on last week's days off, promising to go kayaking this week. So of course it's been raining for the past two days, and we're supposed to get more tomorrow, so that may blow that idea. I hope not, and maybe the next blog will be a lot more interesting. But that's it for now.
