Memorial Day in Wyoming
I don't know what you're doing for Memorial Day, but here in Wyoming, we're going to be shoveling snow. We woke up to the white stuff this morning, and we're supposed to get more (a couple of inches) tonight. It's quite pretty, though.

There's nothing like frolicking bison in the morning. And check out the sky this evening:

We actually have the holiday off, but we wish we didn't because we
would get paid time and a half if we were working. But we'll have a good
day anyway. We're still truckless, but we have a rental car, so we're
not stranded. Speaking of truck, the problem of the week is the
overdrive. They had to send our old one to a place to get it fixed, and
then shipped back. So that took from Monday to Friday, with one day lost
due to the asshole we took our truck to in Arizona saying he'd send one
because the Dodge people here think the Flagstaff people messed
something up when they "fixed" our transmission. So they called up Kevin
at Aamco in Flagstaff to discuss the problem, and Kevin said he'd take
care of us, and when the Dodge people called back the next day to check
on the status, Kevin changed his mind and said they were being
unreasonable and he didn't have an overdrive to send, blah blah blah.
The moral to this story is to never go to Aamco in Flagstaff, Arizona.
The owner is a blue-eyed, silver-tongued devil who lies, lies, lies. I'm
almost over it, though. I am going to check out a book on making Voodoo
dolls the next time we're at the library, and it's going to have
blue-eyes and its name will be Kevin. We all heal in different ways. But
anyway, we lost a whole day, and the part wasn't back in Jackson until
late Friday, and with the holiday weekend, our truck won't be done until
Tuesday. But it's all good. Things happen for a reason.
Let's see...what else is going on. Not much. Our truck has been the sun that we've been revolving around for the last couple weeks. But the good news about having a tiny rental car, we got to go on the Moose-Wilson road that is usually too narrow for the truck. We didn't see any wildlife, but we did get some a great shot of the Tetons.

We hope you all have a great holiday, and we'll check in next week.
