4 More Days
Yes just four more days of work for us, at least when the ships are in. This weekend we have a few days with no ships and then a week from today will be the last day with ships for the season. After that, hopefully, we will have something interesting to write.
So what have we been doing since we obviously have not been blogging? Well we had a list of things we wanted to do before we left Skagway and have been checking it off. Most of the things on the list were simple things we had never taken the time to do, like go see where Ma Pullen's house was.

Ma was one of those fronter ladys who came up to Skagway with the gold rush and made a fortune selling pie to the klondikers - apple that is. She made pie tins from old cans and people loved this taste of home so much that she made enough money to support her kids and open a hotel. Ma Pullen's house was one of the gems of the town, but it burned down and all that remains is a fireplace in the woods by Pullen Creek.
We also went to the City Museum.

They have some great exhibits and it is well worth the $2 fee.
And we spent more time out at the Flats. So I'll leave you with this parting shot.
