The Land of the Lost Internet
I know the regularity of my postings is of concern to some of you (mom), so this is not going to come as good news. We are back in the land of poor wi-fi. In fact, my manager told me Wyoming has the slowest internet connections in the entire United States, so WE'RE NUMBER ONE! But I will try my best to come into town on one of my days off and get something up on here. Probably Mondays. Won't that be a nice way to start your week?
We just finished off our second full week of work, and it's been slow but good. We really like it here. It may get boring for you all to read about the same places from year to year, but until our truck quits breaking down, and we quit wrecking our house, we have to take the jobs that are guaranteed. I'm sure you understand.
Speaking of truck, it's back in the shop. We're waiting on the dreaded phone call to tell us what's wrong. If it's the transmission, we're either going to be happy ('cause it's covered under AAMCO warranty, but we have to go to Idaho to the nearest service station) or we're going to cry ('cause it's just so sad). Hopefully it will be something cheap and minor. Yeah right. We also need new tires, so that's always fun. Why did we buy a truck with six tires again? Someone remind me it was a good idea. Anyway, enough of my boo-hoo'ing.
Our regular readers may know that Phil and I leave a lot of our life decisions up to fate. We look for signs. For example, we ended up in Skagway because we got a Skagway bus toy in our Yellowstone shipment one time. Well, we know it was the right decision to come back to the Tetons because while we were at the Grand Canyon, we got this in our shipment:

Doesn't Phil look dapper? Our boss at the Grand Canyon said she was going to make sure we got some Grand Canyon stuff in our shipments at the Tetons so we'd come back. It's nice to know we're loved.
Not much else has been going on. I celebrated my 40th birthday last Monday. We had a good time. I'm off baked goods, so no cake, but we did treat ourselves to Dairy Queen blizzards. Is there anything better than Chocolate Extreme? I think not. And it decided to snow here on my birthday, so snow in May is always fun.

I guess that's about it for this week. I'll end this, as usual, with a moose picture. This one was parked in our neighbor's driveway when we came home the other evening.
