Cats' Corner

They go where they please, but every cat likes its corner.

Arrival Story:
Barnum and Bailey saved my husband and me from broken hearts. We had lost our beloved cat, Phatty McButterpants, to an enlarged heart in December of 2002. We weren't really sure we'd ever get another cat. But my sister's cat became pregnant, and she needed some good homes for the kittens. My hubby and I decided to take one, so we went to go see the kittens to pick one out. Well, two of them really made an impression on us, and we couldn't decide between the two...so we took both. We've never regretted our decision to get both of them, and even though they don't replace Phatty, they sure do bring a lot of happiness to our lives. And, since they've never been apart for a day in their lives, I decided to put both of them on the same page.

Bio:
Barnum and Bailey were born in March of 2003 to the absolute smallest mommy cat ever seen. They take after their mother - neither of them weighs more than 10 pounds. They have identical markings, and the only difference is their coloring. Barnum is the golden one, and Bailey is the silver one (oh, and ok, Bailey has the white socks that Barnum doesn't have, but that's it for differences). They have a pug stepsister named Willoughby, whom they have grown to tolerate, and a pug stepbrother named Xander, who they take much glee in goading into chasing them. But it all works out.
